Christmas in Nashville!

It's been 2 years since we have put up a Christmas Tree and once it turned December 1, we jumped on the chance to put one up this year. Every year post Christmas I head out to purchase all things on sale. I was SOO excited to see what we had been keeping locked up for so long! In our home this year not only did we for the first time EVER hang lights outside but we also have 1 large real tree and 2 baby trees throughout the house. In addition, the stockings have been hung by both chimneys with care and the garland has been strung on the banisters. Each night we turn on the fireplace, light a few candles and bask in the warmth of Christmas.

The Catbird Seat | Nashville

After 2 months of waiting to experience Nashville's newest "Foodie" restaurant, The Stolls came with us to indulge in Catbird Seat. We began the evening with a cocktail at 1808 inside The Hutton Hotel, a cute little lounge nestled in between wine racks and fires. None of us could stop talking about the adventure which was underway.

Similar to Patterson House, The Catbird Seat is dimly lit and the outside signage is minimal. We walked up to the venue when a hostess said, "Are you Tasha Young?" I asked, "How did you know? Do I look like one?" I was more impressed that we were acknowledged from street side. We were taken up an elevator through a Metallic Pink Hallway (some pretty impressive wallpaper) and escorted into this TINY room which held 30 people max. There was zero decor in the room, only white walls framing the kitchen which was placed prominently in the center of the room for all to watch. We were taken to a corner booth and immediately greeted by multiple staff. None of these staff members were specifically waitstaff, each of them were extremely knowledgeable and played their own role in the kitchen and bar experience.

I was extremely impressed with the Sommelier type lady who was amply versed in all things liquor. She explained all of our options and each individual drink in a way that was clear and not too over our head. We were very intrigued every time she came to the table with a new pairing. Although I stuck with a delicious and Smooth Pinot Noir, Jeremy let me try his Glass of Moscato served in a glass rinsed with Blackberry Bourbon! I was in heaven!!

Aside from the drinks, we experience 12 courses of mind blowing plates. The plates were all small in size but robust in flavor. After 12 servings, there was plenty of food served. The first bite of the evening was a weird Oreo shaped bite but rather than sweet, it was a Porcini Mushroom Cream bite! It was heavenly! Our plates ranged from Fennel, Black Olive & Eggplant Octopus to Pressed Duck with duck liver mousse and granola to a Swordfish coated in Kale Ashes served with Mushroom & Beer Syrup. There were many other courses all leading up to the dessert. The dessert served was a Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Crumb, Malted Cream, Pistachio Crisp Chicory Gelee and a Smoked Oat Bourbon Ice Cream Cherry Crsip wiht Pineapple Gelee! AMAZING!! The evening finished similar to the start with another Oreo bite however rather than savory, this bite was a coffee cream bite.

The experience was undoubtedly something we have never experienced before and look forward to trying again down the road.
With a price tag like the one we paid, it may be further down the road than we hoped but regardless worth every dime.

Thanksgiving Leftovers

After much deliberation on how to utilize the leftovers in the fridge, I managed to mix a few recipes I found online with leftover items in our fridge. Please enjoy our recipe below, we sure did! Jeremy walked away stating that may be the best dinner you ever made me.

Leftover Turkey Vegetable Chowder

Makes 5 (1-cup) servings.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 carrot sliced
2 celery stalks chopped
1 squash cubed
Portabella & White Mushrooms
2 cloves of garlic crushed
2 cups water
4 medium red potatoes, cut in 1/2-inch cubes (about 2 cups)
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups of cold turkey gravy
2 cups shaved cooked turkey
1 can (8 3/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, undrained
2 tbsp chipotle sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste

1. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add Vegetables; cook and stir 3 minutes. Add water and pre-boiled potatoes. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 2 minutes.

2. Stir milk into Cold Turkey Gravy until smooth. Stir into saucepan. Add turkey, corn, Chipotle Sauce and Salt & Pepper. Bring to boil on medium heat. Reduce heat to low; Add Sauteed Vegetables & Potatoes above. cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Serve with Leftover Cornbread Chicken Sausage Stuffing Or your favorite bread.

Last night truly was a showcase to how AMAZING Nashville is! Gavin performed a tribute to Kenny Chesney, so Jer was able to invite us down to Bridgestone Arena and share this joyous occasion. Thank you Kelli for sharing this evening with me. It was unbelieveable to see who was in the room; Gavin DeGraw, Hank Williams Jr, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie, Avett Brothers, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley & Kimberly Williams, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Rob Lowe, All American Rejects, Tony LaRuso, Kenny Chesney & Many more I know I am missing.
To top it all off, Kelli asked The Band "The Strangers" if I could pop up for a little Bobby McGee! Its just not a great night out with impromptu Karaoke in Nashville! Or any city for that matter!

He has been amazing so far! We are still working on the crate training through the night but so far so good for no accidents in the home. His personality is calm but feisty! A little of us both I think!

Although I haven't been home on St. Patty's Day in years,
I am missing being at home with my hubby and some beers.

Its been a long week traveling from city to city,
Don't get me wrong I don't take it for granted, the world is so pretty.

It just sucks spending every day on the road,

Man how time flys! We depart for Nashville in 17 days! and I only have 5 days left in the GMR New Berlin offices!
We have had such a great experience here in MKE and can only happen Nashville welcomes us the same. We look forward to our new friends and neighbors and to bringing little Waylon into our family! Hopefully this is the start of a bright future for Jeremy and I. Sadly we are going to miss everyone in MKE but we will be in touch!

11 Days Old

SOOOO.... Jeremy and I have our fingers crossed that one of these little puppies will be living with us at the end of March!
We are 9th on the list to adopt one these cute little Goldendoodles.
The mom passed while giving birth to these puppies, so they have a surrogate (from a random stranger) and are being bottle fed.
The family lost one already but we were told that the first week is the most crucial.
Every day I look at the site to check up on our potential new addition.

Please keep your fingers crossed! We are so ready for a little puppy!!

Happy Halloween everyone!

What a great weekend!

We started our weekend early as I have been traveling a ton so I was due for some days off!
Thursday night we met The Stoll's for dinner at Nessun Dorma. Dinner was exceptional and the company wasn't half bad either!
Friday was a day full of pampering! I got a mani/pedi, got my hair did, took Bikram Yoga and then Jer and I went for dinner and a movie at IPIC. We ate at Ovations and watched Jackass 3D. I wouldn't say the movie was worth the money but you can't really put a price on a night out with the hubby!
Saturday I ran in the Lakefront DIscovery Run 15K (PR of 1:20), then set off to brunch and on to Halloween evening!
Jer and I dressed as Kat Von D and Jesse James and met up with Ry, Bri, Nucci, Strachota, Knueppel, Emily, Greg and Scholtz!
Once again I couldn't handle my liquor and had to head home a bit early. Little did I know that I would end up rallying to hang with Jer and Scott til 4am! Sometimes I just need the comfort of my own home and I am ready to go!
Sunday we woke up, took Scott to McBob's for brunch and relaxed on the sofa with some football and chili!

The next three weekends, I will be without my hubby, so it was good to get in a lot of activity this past weekend!

So proud of my family for bringing together a successful benefit for Tim's family! We raised over $17,000 for Melissa and the kids. The turnout was tremendous and the money we raised even greater!
Thank you to everyone who participated in such an amazing benefit.
Tim would have been so proud.

Tim's true character continues to shine through everyone's memories.
I only hope I could be 1/2 the person he has proven to be.

Tim Hammonds Benefit

This Sunday, October 24th my family will be holding a benefit to ensure the family of Tim Hammond's will be taken care of after his passing. I am saddened that I am not able to attend this benefit due to work obligation however I know everything is in good hands. One thing I have learned from my family over the past month and a half is that we are here for each other no matter what and no matter when. I don't get to go home to St. Charles as much as I would like but I always know that my family is there for me and I them.
I love you all and truly hope we are able to raise enough money to take some weight off of Melissa's shoulders.

Well friends, my apologies on being so distant for so long. Life has been moving in a completely different direction than it ever has been. 2010 has been a year full of extreme happiness and extreme sadness all filled in by mild running ventures.

To begin without going back to the beginning, The extreme happiness began with a job offer from The Competitor Group in San Diego in September. A dream job producing running events and living in a location not too shabby as well. After turning down the job, I got the opportunity with GMR to work in my current position in Nashville come March 2011. Jeremy and I are both so excited for this move as Nashville is a place we both see ourselves growing old and raising a family. We have begun the transition of putting our condo up for sale, researching Nashville and making sure we get plenty of friends and family time before we depart Milwaukee. Although we are so excited for Nashville it is still a 4 hour drive from Cincinnati and an 8 hour drive from Chicago. I have never been so far away from home and recently this has become harder to swallow.

This leads me to the extreme sadness. Recently on my mother's 50th birthday and Jeremy and my 1st year anniversary, we woke to the news that my cousin Tim had passed away. Tim passed due to a heart attack brought on by Arrhythmia. Tim conquered every medical issue possible all of his life. He was the strongest man I had ever known and the best family man I had ever known. He made me want to be a better me. Growing up, I looked up to Tim everyday and when he passed I realized how much lost time we had been through in the past few years. I couldn't remember the last time I saw Tim or the last time I told him I loved him. Tim, I hope you know how much you mean to me and how much I love you!

WIth his passing, I have decided it is time for me to stop being so selfish. It is time for me to make more time for others and less time for myself. When we relocate to Nashville, I am going to make it a point to send letters and birthday cards on a regular basis. I am going to call everyone in the family on a regular basis to stay in touch! I am going to volunteer my time when I am not traveling. About 10 years ago I went through Domestic Violence Training and it is time I put that to good use. I will begin volunteering at a women's shelter.

I hope by this time next year you have all noticed the change in my life.

It has been awhile since my last post however I thought a nice Vegas "Hoorah" would satisfy!
On February 4th-8th Jeremy and my brother Porg flew out to Vegas for a once in a lifetime experience.

Below was the schedule of events.
Thursday- Drinks on the strip and Gambling at Buffalo Bills
Friday- Drive to the Red Rocks, Dinner at BLT, Love (up CLOSE) and Table at RAIN w/ DJ Z-Trip
Saturday- Recover! Private Party at the Hugh Hefner Suite
Sunday- SUPER BOWL then table at Moon
Monday- RECOVER, RECOVER, RECOVER

Sadly, I didn't partake in much of this evening as I had to work however the boys had more than enough fun for all of us!
It was great to have my husband and my brother out in Vegas with me. I had a long 10 days of work out in Vegas so it was refreshing to share it with the ones I loved.
Michelle and Mike- It was awesome that you guys could share in this experience as well! We hope to have more fun times together!!!

Lincoln Park Zoo

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Jeremy and I headed off to Chicago to meet Erin And Lily for a quick stroll through Lincoln Park Zoo and some lunch prior to m Dad's Surprise 50th.
No matter when we meet up with Erin and Lily we know that we are going to have a day full of smiles and laughter.
Plus there is nothing better than hearing Lily say Jeremy!
We arrived at 11am, the weather had just hit 72 and the sun was shining.
Here are some photos from our day at the Zoo. Following the Zoo we walked to Stanley's in Lincoln Park for a quick bite to eat. I'm not sure where our appetites came from but we sure enjoyed the Trailer Park Fries, Turkey Reuben, BLT and Turkey Club! If it weren't for Lily I'm pretty sure Jeremy and Erin would have actually eaten some bacon.

People Change

Over the last few months I have been given a new glimpse of what life is all about.
I have recently married the most amazing man I have ever met who has turned my world around.
From the moment we met we shared an amazing chemistry and through our time together I began to look at myself in another light. I saw a more stronger, honest, loving, devoted and emotional me. I was proud to take on the days knowing that whatever I set my mind to I could accomplish. More importantly, aside from what I saw in me, I saw even more in the love of my life.
He endlessly tells me and shows me how much he loves me, he is willing to help out whenever and wherever possible, he is honest and true to all of his friends and family, and he is a driven and devoted career man. For the first time in my life I was able to look into my future and see more than myself. I was able to see us and a family.

While sharing these amazing moments in my life, tragedy had hit close to home. While I was beginning a journey with the one I loved my brother was ending a journey with the one he loved. My brother and I have been close all of our lives but it was only over the last month where i realized that each of us may be all the other one has. Of course we have our friends and our loved ones but it is your family that will never leave your side. My brother shared life with a women who was extremely selfish and always took him for granted. In the 10 years I knew her, I had never seen her do anything for anyone but herself. It was not a shock when she decided to end her marriage in a matter of 30 days, made by an overnight decision. The selfishness continued in fact when they moved into separate homes and she continued to call my brother when she was drunk or in an accident only to get the help and keep herself from embarrassment of the new people around her. It takes everything I have inside of me to be cordial to the thought of her.

Regardless of any religious beliefs, marriage is about the joining of two lives and making a commitment to be together through everything life throws at you. Marriage is about joining these two lives to create a family or a kinship. It is about finding your best friend in this life we are given. It is about going through ups and downs and good times and bad times but because of this marriage you work together to always get back to the place you started.

It breaks my heart when people give up so fast. Sure divorce is common nowadays but it should never be taken this lightly.
I remember how much getting married (for her mom before she passed) meant to her. Now all of that meaning has disappeared.

Tomorrow we leave for Virginia Beach, I will be working and Jeremy will be relaxing on the Beach.
We return Labor Day Evening, I come back to work for a day and Wednesday wedding vacation begins!
Jeremy and I have our evening rituals of facial masks and teeth whitening!
We are so ridiculous but we cant wait to look our best for each other and everyone around us!

One Crazy Weekend in Cincinnati

It all began on May 1st as we began our road trip to Cincinnati, OH. We were headed to Cincinnati for our first Bridal Shower and I was also set to run the Flying Pig Marathon. Jeremy and I jumped in the Explorer, met my parents in Chicago and began the road trip to Cincinnati. Our time was good and we were set to arrive Cincinnati by 9pm when on Hwy 74, 2 deer ran into the highway. Jeremy swerved to avoid the deer when a third member of the family decided to jump in front of him. We ended up hitting a bulls eye with that deer. The deer slid across the highway and into the median and the Explorer's radiator blew, headlights blew and could barely drive to the shoulder of the road. Thank goodness everything was on our side, we were 50ft from the Rest stop and were able to drive the car to the stop to report the accident. Thank goodness we were all safe and only 50 miles out of Cincy. Jer's mom and sister drove in to pick us up while Jeremy and the Tow truck dropped the car off at the local Ford dealer.
Saturday began with tying up the loose ends. We secured the rental car, met the Body shop and submitted the claim with our insurance company. After that we still made time to hit Findlay Market in Over the Rhine prior to the Bridal Shower. There was no way this accident was ruining all of our plans! The Findlay Market was so great! Plenty of plants and fruits and vegetables all laid out over the bridge and side streets. We each stocked up on a few fun snacks and were on our way to the bridal shower.
The Bridal Shower was beautiful! Jeremy's family and friends were all in attendance making toasts, playing the newlywed game and opening the beautiful gifts! We couldn't have asked for a better gathering. We head back to the hotel to re-coop and ventured out for dinner to my favorite Cincy restaurant, The Silver Spring House! I love the chicken! We then called it an evening.
Bright and Early Sunday morning (4am) we awoke to prepare for the Flying Pig Marathon. After some light drizzling in the morning the race began and the day started to clear. The weather was beautiful for a marathon! 65 degrees and a mild overcast. I continued running the marathon climbing 17 miles of Cincinnati inclines. Thankfully my parents, Linda and Jeremy were there to cheer for me. Without their support I may have convinced myself to quit as this marathon proved to be more difficult than I anticipated. I stopped for a breather at mile 18 but pulled myself together and finished strong at 4:17:56. If only I would have known how close I was to beating my Chicago time when I took that breather! I am positive I could have killed that time if I could find the focus to continue. I guess I will just have to prove it to myself next time!

I want to give a special thanks to Jeremy's mom for being there on Friday to pick us up, pulling together an amazing Bridal Shower with the help of the rest of the aunts and for the extra support at the Marathon!
Thank you to my parents for supporting me throughout the weekend and being there for such a great and unique road trip!
Jeremy and I will never forget every one's love and generosity that we felt this past weekend! We are so grateful to have such amazing people in our lives!
Thank you to our friends and family! We look forward to sharing more moments with you all!

Easter Weekend 2009

Jeremy and I spent our 2009 Easter weekend with The Lawrence's in Ottawa, IL.
We met at a half way point near Starved Rock for hiking, picnics, wineries and pubs!
Saturday we pulled a few lawn chairs up to the pavilions encrusted in dirt and began the picnic.
We nibbled on some cheese and crackers, drank a few champagne mixers and attempted a game of Koosh Ball.
Following the picnic we opted out of a hike due to the flooding that recently occurred and ventured on into the town of Utica.
We hit the Illinois Winery first.
Although there were a few decent wines the server didn't know what Sauvignon Blanc was which caused us a bit of a fright.
Following a few hot flashes at the bar we jumped back into the car and headed up the street. (It was a toasty little winery)
We had a few photo ops and stopped for a couple of apps at the local pub!
This is where we always find ourselves on Saturday afternoon with the Lawrences.
It is by far one of our favorite "regular" occurrences.
After an afternoon of the ladies drinking the day away it was time to head back to the hotel.
Erin and I put on the suits and went swimming with Lily while the guys went across the street to the local pub.
Lily had so much fun splashing around in the chlorine bath water!
By the time we got back to the room it was 8:30pm and we were awaiting the men to cook dinner.
Im not quite sure what happened over at Shakers Lounge but we seemed to have been neglected that evening.
Boys will be boys! ;)
We all ended up getting a full night sleep and awoke to an Easter Egg Hunt!
Jeremy and I went a little over board and "hid" 40 eggs for 1 little girl! I am sure she had a great time though!
It was a great weekend and we look forward to many more!!!

Nikki's Bridal Shower

Jeremy and I spent last weekend with my brother and his wife. We enjoyed a couple of movies, few cocktails and great conversation. it makes me so happy to be spending time with the family since it is so limited!
On Saturday Jeremy and I parted for a few hours on a road trip to Peoria for Nikki and Rick's Bridal shower. We had such a great time. Jer slipped away with Mike to the local watering hole while I was able to enjoy some giggling and gossip with the girls!
This next weekend we will be heading to Starved Rock with The Lawrence's! It will be a fun filled weekend of hiking, wineries, swimming and Easter egg hunting! We are definitely looking forward to it!

Valentine's 2009 we spent with The Stolls.
Our evening began with some sushi at Kiku, downtown Milwaukee.
Then we ventured over to the Milwaukee Theatre to experience the Amazingly weird and Church like show, Celtic Woman.
After we left the show early we had no other choice but to finish the evening with some Karaoke.
It was pretty amazing!

This year has been a year full of events for me and what better time to revisit these moments than during the Thanksgiving season. In one year Jeremy and I became homeowners, got engaged, I ran the Milwaukee Half Marathon, I ran the Chicago Marathon, I visited San Francisco, Las Vegas, Houston, San Diego, Raleigh, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, Montreal, I attended many concerts like Gavin Degraw, Foo Fighters at Harley’s 105th, Rusted Root at Summerfest, Old Crow Medicine Show, Alicia Keys, Goo Goo Dolls at Brickyard, STP at Indy 500, Gretchen Wilson at Chicagoland, I saw the Frank Caliendo, Full Monty and Avenue Q as well as attended some amazing weddings. In addition, I have been able to see and spend quality time with all of my friends and family.
I could not have asked for a better year. I realize that an even more important year is ahead next year and I want to thank all of you for being a part of my life and making each of these moments enjoyable. Without each of you they wouldn’t mean as much!

This Thanksgiving, I want to thank everyone in my life (and you all know who you are)! You have all encouraged me to be a better me and enjoy life one moment at a time! As I enter the 30th year in my life, I can look back at all of the moments we have shared together and cherish them and look forward to the moments we will share together in the future!

Alright! Jer and I are really struggling with the location of our honeymoon!
If you have any recommendations, PLEASE OH PLEASE speak up!

So the situation is this.

We have been planning Greece since we began talking honeymoon. Initially we wanted a cruise but they all depart the Saturday following our wedding and I have limited vacation time. Our next options are a land/cruise tour, staying put in a hotel on the sea and exploring or a full guided land tour. Our options with these remain limited due to cost but some definitely fall within our budget.

The negatives to Greece:
*The travel time it requires to get there
*The amount of our budget which will be allocated to flights
*When will we be able to travel this far once we start having kids?

The positive to Greece:
*does not have to be explained!
*The waters are bluer than blue
*There are white and black sand beaches
*The food options will be phenomonal
*The history/mythology is endless
* Also, I have always had this feeling that I may have been Venus in a past life! ;)

Another option we have began discussing is Cabo! Who can resist an amazing, adventurous Mexican getaway.
We have run into All-Inclusives, normal hotels and Amazing Resort and Spa retreats. If we go Cabo, we must go all in to get the best quality out of this option. Plus there is always the chance that we can vacation to Cabo once we start our family, so this is definitely a possibility in the nearer future.

The negatives to Cabo:
* The limited activity provided by an all inclusive
* The limited activities for adventure and history
* The number of families that may be vacationing
* The September weather may be iffy due to hurricane season

The positives to Cabo:
* The beautiful beaches
* The endless mexican food
* The bottomless cocktails
* Returning to Milwaukee with a tan
* The short flight which will allow us more vacation time

Now that you have read the positives and negatives to both, please provide a recommendation based on your honeymoon, your past travels or your advice as a friend!

We could use a little help as we keep going back and forth!

Not only is this boy growing up to be so smart and ahead of his age but he is so well behaved and so funny! We spent the weekend with Cash asking "What's That" about everything that he saw and Jeremy even came home still playing the game!

7 Days, 6 Nights, 3 Runs, 3 Rest Days and 1 Flattop Dinner until the Chicago Marathon! It has almost been a full year since I told myself I was going to accomplish this race however it feels like yesterday. The long runs seem so far removed from my training that I am beginning to make myself nervous and wonder if I am ready!
Keep your fingers crossed because this is going to be a long run!
Please hope for chilly, rainy weather too! It would be so nice if the weather man was right this time!!!!

WOW! Does this picture say it all! It is getting down to the wire. The remainder of my runs are extremely important however life seems to really be getting in the way of my energy and training! Up until now I have had no problem squeezing it all in.
Why now? Why with only 3 weeks left?
This week alone I have a birthday picnic, 5 hour road trip to Cincinnati (there and back), Rehearsal dinner, wedding and a brunch! So much for taking some time to enjoy myself. At this point Ill be lucky if I can even have 1 glass of wine.
I really hope when I cross that finish line that I am hit with an overwhelming pride in myself. At least at that moment I will be able to feel as though all of the sacrifice was worth it.

I wont give up, I just wont sleep! :)

22 Mile Run

Alright! So, Saturday I set out to accomplish a 22 mile run. This was to be my last big run before the big day.
At mile 20 I had to take a bathroom break. By the time I got back on the road my legs started cramping and it hurt too much to finish. I ended up running a 21 mile run. I am so disappointed that I couldn't push myself to finish this one! I was so close!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that on the big day the screams from the crowd, the many of other runners, and the encouragement and support from my family and friends will push me through!
Lesson learned: No stopping for a bathroom so close to the end of the run!

18 Miles Accomplished!

I did it! With help from my good friend Wiz I was able to accomplish 18 miles.
We ran the Lakefront discovery run loop 2 times. I definitely had an easier time with a partner than I have on my own.
It seemed it was easier to hide or block out all of those convincing thoughts which would take me through a short cut or stop to walk. Believe me, I still had them I was just able to push through them.

So this Sunday, July 6th I am scheduled to run 18 miles. I am a little ahead of the game as there is still 12 weeks to the marathon but I picked a more challenging training schedule. This schedule peaks 3 different times, 1 at 18, 1 at 20 and 1 at 22/23. After this Sunday, I go back down to 10-14 miles for a couple of weeks. I have to admit, I am extremely scared. The last mile and a half of the 16 miler was a hard push for me and my knees hurt for a couple of days. I will keep believing in myself and keep knowing that my loved ones believe in me to and hopefully that will pull me through!
I am going to conquer this marathon!

1/2 Marathon

After 12 weeks of training, I finally pushed myself to accomplish my first goal.
April 12th, 2008 I finished the Southshore 1/2 Marathon in 1:59. The website logged me in at 2:01.
SInce I looked into the eyes of the clock as I crossed the finish line, I am happily taking the 1:59.
With so many runners involved, there is always a delay at the starting line anyways.

I crossed the finish line to my new fiance, Jeremy Young and my parents! It was so warming to see everyone waiting for me.
Following the run we ate brunch at The Original Pancake House. They officially have the Worlds Largest Omelettes and AMAZING Buckwheat Panckaes!

Alright, I have definitely been postponing telling people that Jer and I put in an offer on a condo in Bayview because I didnt want to jinx it but we did! We put an offer in on Tuesday afternoon. The deadline was today at 12pm and we still haven't heard back but our realtor is still confident that we will get this unit. He mentioned that the developer went in the condo unit to double check some of the upgrades that we requested and that is probably what is delaying the process. I realize that we will have to deal with a counter offer but I cant stand the waiting!!!

This is the last time I saw my man but it sure was a good time!
Super Party is an event Miller Brewing throws for 1500 guests in Las Vegas. Friday started with the Pussycat Dolls at PURE and Sunday ended with (8) 12'x14'screens projecting the Superbowl throughout the Bally's Convention Center.
