1/2 Marathon

After 12 weeks of training, I finally pushed myself to accomplish my first goal.
April 12th, 2008 I finished the Southshore 1/2 Marathon in 1:59. The website logged me in at 2:01.
SInce I looked into the eyes of the clock as I crossed the finish line, I am happily taking the 1:59.
With so many runners involved, there is always a delay at the starting line anyways.

I crossed the finish line to my new fiance, Jeremy Young and my parents! It was so warming to see everyone waiting for me.
Following the run we ate brunch at The Original Pancake House. They officially have the Worlds Largest Omelettes and AMAZING Buckwheat Panckaes!

The Engagement Ring

As of April 9th, 2008 Jeremy and I are officially engaged! My man proposed to me in our new home filled with candles, three dozen peach roses and red wine. He even went as far as asking for permission from my parents which means more than the world to me!
Here is to a lifetime of happiness with my man!

My baby and I are almost proud owners of a new condo in Milwaukee!
